Eddie is a HighAvailability clustering toolkit. It's OpenSource and written in the functional programming language [Erlang]. Eddie consists of two parts * An Enchanced DNS Server * An Intelligent HTTP Gateway Because of it's design and use of a weird DNS server Eddie can support load balancing over geographically seperated servers. This would be useful for having different servers in different countries! See http://eddie.sourceforge.net/
