DSSS is an Acronym for Direct-Sequence Spread-Spectrum

DSSS is a technique for modulating a datastream with a second pattern, the Barker code, wich is ideal for radio-transfer. As implied by the acronym, it uses a SpreadSpectrum technique.

DSSS is used in common wireless protocols such as 802.11b and 802.11g
