A network connecting the offices of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research in NewZealand.
DSIR got disbanded in the restructuring of the 80s, and replaced with lots of individual Crown Research Institutes.
One of the nodes and significant computation resources were located at Soil Bureau (now Landcare Research 
http://www.landcareresearch.co.nz/), which was then located behind Taita College in Lower Hutt.
