His first big break came when him and friend Paul Allen wrote a [BASIC] interpreter for the first personal computer, the Altair. Microsoft then was contracted to write an operating system for [IBM]. They licensed the operating system that later became MS [DOS]. From there we got MicrosoftWindows, MicrosoftOffice and the Department of Justice case against them!
Bill Gates lives in a $40 million mansion, and has a wife and (two?) kids.
